What a trip!
In my quest for better health, over a year ago I finally considered going natural. I was seriously contemplating dreads but while looking into it, I stumbled across Sisterlocks a number of months into my search. Once the decision was made, a new phase of my hair life began. Goodbye to bad hair days people! My babes were born on June 21, 2008.

The Road to Sisterlocks
Over the last few years I have been going through a process of reconnecting with my natural hair. I had my Sisterlocks installed on November 28 - 29, 2008. SisterlocksMD
I debated for a while whether or not I should get my hair locked and have long admired sisterlocks. I finally decided to get locked up and my sisterlocks were installed May 19, 2008. Now I wish I would have done this years ago!
Many Lock it Up blogs have been very helpful to me, and I hope me sharing a little about my journey will be helpful to someone else.
